Model B 2mm Miniature (Berloque) Blunderbuss Pinfire Pistol
CMGW Model B
The Model B is chambered for 2mm pinfire blanks, has a brass frame, a hinged steel barrel, and several proprietary features. Which include the Blunderbuss- shaped barrel, a very distinctive signature hammer, and a bifurcated main spring. Wherein the main spring is cut from spring steel, is specially heat treated and operates the hammer and trigger which are both made of tool steel, are hardened and polished and blued. All the above parts are machined (not castings nor stampings) and the pistol is finished off with grips made from over 200 year old walnut. With each pistol proofed (test fired) and only then engraved with “CMGW” (Charleston Mini Gun Works) and its Serial Number B-XXX. And included with each pistol is a brass rod with handle for ejecting a spent blank and cleaning the barrel, and a mini corked bottle for storing the blanks. All contained in a hand-finished wood chest having a brass Charleston Mini Gun Works nameplate identifying the pistol model. And please note that blanks are not included and if in need we can possibly help in obtaining.
We are having a difficult time keeping some Model Bs in stock because of the demand. And there is only a matched set of two in a special wood case available at this time. But we hope to have another single one finished and available this weekend. As our little old mini-gun designer/maker now in his 77th year has been proceeding to make at least a few more when he has the time. So please have patience. And though deposits are not accepted, you are welcome to let us know if you desire one.
